In unregular intervals, NIVREL introduces special editions to the market that mostly have a strict limitation as they are meant to be collector’s items. Our latest treasure is the ‚Chronographe Replique II‘. Both versions of this watch are an hommage to two different NIVREL chronographs from the 1950ies.
Next to this latest model, the ‘Nova Limited’ is introduced. It provides a real historical rarity: The movement on the inside of this watch, the calibre Lemania 8810, used to be the flattest automatic movement on the market for a long time.
Nivrel La Grande Manuelle X47 Ref. N 320.001-2 X47
The NIVREL special edition 2010/2011: The La Grande Manuelle X47. It is clearly made for men who love to engage with time; for human beings who like beautiful objects and at the same time know how to manage their day. Therefore, the edition is not only a watch, but a combination of a luxury timepiece and a time management system: the X47 timer.
The X47 leather timer is made of the finest materials. The basic idea of the X47 idea is a so-called ‘Federschiene’ – a spine rail made of stainless steel, by which the X47 gains some essential advantages in comparison to similar products. The technique behid the spine rail is quite similar to the mechanism that is used to attach leather straps to wrist watches. The timer’s inserts (small bound books) are equipped with a stainless steel tube on the backside and are latched into the spine rail. The inserts are easy and fast to exchange and the missing of the usual ring mechanism makes the X47 flatter than any timer. The system allows to scroll through the timer just like through a book. The inner surface of the pages stays clear from and punshed holes – it can be used for writing instead. On top of that, no ring mechanism get into the user’s way when trying to write on the edges. Alltogether, the X47 provides 47% more writing surface!
Also, X47 has it’s very own calendar as well: the so-called ’Time Circles’ are a unique concept to visualize appointments and available time. Unlike traditional calendars, times are entered onto a stylized watch dial rather than in a vertical line from top to bottom. The speciality of this segmentation: In the upper half of the page, appointments and meetings are visualised while the lower part stays clean for additional notes about the most important activities of the days or the week.Reference

X47 Timer made of premium calf leather "Gaucho" with embossed NIVREL Logo. The colour matches the Louisiana Alligator leather strap of the watch. In addition to that, the timer is provided with a full set of the ‘time circle’ inserts for the year 2011. The watch dial of this special time circles edition is of course the NIVREL LGM dial. The time circles are accompanied by a monthly planner, an additional booklet for notes all all kind, and a luxury, silver-coloured mechanical pencil.

Nivrel Le Chronographe Replique II Ref. N 585.001
At the beginning of the 1990ies, NIVREL presented a replica model (Ref. N 515.001) of an old manual winding chronograph from the 1940ies. It was limited to 100 pieces and sold out immediately. Today, the watch is a high regarded object for collectors.
In 2009 – some 15 years after the introduction of the first replica model – NIVREL presented a second model of this kind. The NIVREL Chronographe Replique II is available in two different versions. Both are – in a unique way – an hommage to two different NIVREL chronographs from the 1950ies. The original watches had been equipped with a mechanical winding chronograph movement calibre Landeron 47. The replica models also feature a mechanical winding chronograph movement calibre Landeron 248. This movement is from the same product family that was built from 1933 until 1970. The movement measures 13.75‘‘‘, has 17 jewels, a power reserve of 43 hours, and an oscillation of 18.000 A/h.
The follow-up model of the original Landeron 47 has been beautifully refurbished by NIVREL, featuring details such as blued screws and gold-plated bridges.Reference

Remarkable about the new Chronographe Replique III is most definitely the design of the dial. NIVREL aficionados will notice with joy that the brand celebrates the revival of a true classic. This unique design in a chronograph was presented by NIVREL for the first time in the 1940ies. In the 1990ies, a special edition of 100 pieces was brought onto the market. It was sold out immediately and is still well-known among collectors. During BASELWORLD, the third edition of this chronograph was presented, and it fits well into NIVREL’s replique series!Reference

Nivrel Nova Limited Ref. N 151.001
As a special edition, the Nova Limited (Reference N 151.001) addresses watch lovers and collectors, especially because of its movement: The extremely flat calibre Lemania 8810 (2.95 mm). In comparison to the NIVREL Nova, the Nova Limited is considerably flatter (7.4 mm). The Geneva stripes on the rotor complete the perfect picture. Both watches are water-resistant to 5 bar.Reference

Nivrel Plongeur Wild Sea Ref. N 541.001
The most important feature of our diving watch is its water resistancy. The Plongeur Wild Sea is thoroughly tested to withstand 100 bar. More important features are also the clearness of the display as well as the anticlockwise rotating bezel for setting the diving time. Nivrel Deep Ocean Ref. N 145.001
In the last year since 2004 the very successful "Sea" series is expired. Red Sea, Deep Sea and South Sea are known as diving watches for watch lovers in Germany and beyond. Therefore it will in 2011 give a successor to this series. Under the motto "From the Sea to the Ocean" starts NIVREL the new "Ocean" series of Divers with striking design and attractive optional extras.
