History
Milan, Prague, Augsburg, Wuerzburg, and of course, were central Nuremberg watchmaking cities in the 16th century. In fact, Nuremberg is home to Peter Heinlein, one of the fi rst artists in Europe who, in 1520, designed a precision pocket watch using small quantities of iron and steel. Centuries have passed since this first and pocket watch was created in the 20th century wristwatches took off on their victory lap, a trend Which quietly continues today.
Today
Thomas has Ninchritz watchmaking in his genes. Already his grandfather on his mother's side was a Master Watchmaker. Since 1999 he has been handcrafting mechanical watchesin his small workshop in Nuremberg. Using the basic movements Swiss ETA 6497-1 or ETA 6498-1 Thomas Ninchritz creates high-class mechanical watches involving Normous amount of traditional handwork, Which Will Make the heart of any watch enthusiast skip a beat. His watches refl ect his meticulous attention to detail as manifested by the handcrafted ¾-plate (circular stripes "cotes circulaire") and screwed gold chatons. The absolute highlight, however, is the hand-engraved balance cock with swan neck fine adjustment, a typical characteristic quality of the watch making tradition. The first class, immaculate watch case is made of either stainless steel, steel / gold or 18 karat gold and has staged a bezel, sapphire coated glass, the bracelets are attached by straps or screws. The elaborately designed silver dial, part of Which is edged needle, with clearly visible numerals and blued steel hands or rhodium-plated to give exquisite fi nal touch to the watch. The watch has a solid and reliable movement Which, through refi nement, receives its high quality standard and lasting value. All watches are crafted registered. This procedure Allows the identi cation and the determination of the whereabouts of a watch after many years have elapsed.
